One way around getting results out to the paddock

From the NASA site

"We will be distributing T&S output from our AMB timing and scoring system via 900MHz radio signal from a MaxStream 9XStream-PKG-9 radio modem with a 6Dbi Omni-directional antenna. To receive and display T&S data you will need a computer, the RMonitor program and a MaxStream 9XStream-PKG-9 radio modem.
The MaxStream 9XStream package includes: (1) XStream Stand-Alone Radio Modem; (1)1/2 wave dipole antenna; (1) DB-9 male to DB-9 female serial cable; (1) Null modem adapter; (1) Serial loopback adapter; (1) 9 Volt battery adapter; (1) ac adapter, (1) CD with documentation and software for configuration. There is no configuration of the modem required, simply connect the ac adapter, and the serial cable." $250 list, mention NASA for a discount.

There are no plans, that I know of, to impliment a proprietary radio broadcast from the SCCA T&S computers at this time. However you can buy an iCard and use it on any color Gameboy, Advance or SP and get live results for many SCCA regions, IRL, OWRS, Pro Racing, ALMS, Trans-Am... and a long list of others including drag racing and USAC.
